Any thoughts on what this species is? A hobbyist I know in my area purchased this today.

Maybe A. Panduro female or A. Nijsseni female. But mine completely a guess...

I need better photos that show more of the dark markings on the fish for a good ID. If these are the only visible dark markings then it is an overly inbred specimen, probably one of the nijsseni-group species.
