Apistogramma Eremnopyge

Hello guys

I'm from Portugal and

I am an enthusiast of Apistogrammas.About 3 months ago I acquired a pair of Apistogramma Eremnopyge, but I rarely see them in the aquarium. I have tried putting them in a smaller aquarium and they still never appear. Right now I have put them in a 200-gallon aquarium along with some Nannostomus, and unfortunately I still don't see them.What can I do to get them to roam around the aquarium more?

A picture of the tank would help a lot.

Floating plants, dim light and more structure in the tank are some of the common suggestions.

I have some fishes that hide for years and others that never hide - nothing seems to change that. The weirdest or maybe predict able thing is that I've had fishes i've moved from one aquarium to another and they respond by never letting me see them again.

A. eremnopyge are known for being extremely shy. Other than putting them in a dark, highly structured tank with a good number of dither fish, and the surface almost completely covered by floating plants, I cannot think of what you can do.
