That's the word out on the "streets"... from what I've heard from friends from japan and the asian market, Apistogramma sp. Fresa is now scientifically listed as A. eremnopyge.

That's correct.
The Ap. sp. "Fresa/Barbarossa" has been described by Ready&Kullander as Apistogramma eremnopyge (uaah, what a nutty name?)

It's a good thing I buy most of my apistogrammas on line! At least I only need to know the spelling. I wouldn't even begin to know how to pronounce it! :wink:
