Elizabethae is a very distinctive fish with a very elongate body, here are three of my males
The males are born with a rounded caudal, at about 1 inch it develops a split at the apex and becomes a lyretil, thing is--the only time they spread it is when engaged in a shoving contest--the rest of the time they hold it in a scissor configuration.
