Apistogramma d24?

In my local store they were labeled as d24 but to me it's more like apistogramma macmasteri...can you guys help id?

You are right they don't look like D24. What exactly they are, is almost impossible to tell without knowing the catch location. Some possibilities are A. macmasteri, A. cf. macmasteri (Tame) or A. sp. D33.

Can't say diddly about species or behavior but that is one nice looking fish.
