My friend pointed out a small advert in the British cichlid Assoc trading post for the above named fish.

I've never heard of it. Can anyone comment if it is a real species? If not, could anyone hazard a guess as to what these are likely to be?

Thanks.

I also noticed that error as it is certainly not a valid species. I agree with Peter in that it is probably one of the African species that uses the name Christyi ....

The only one that comes to mind readily is Neolamprologus christyi. A fascinating, yet aggressive, Tanganyikan cichlid. One of only two species that have actually made me bleed. The other one was also a Tang!

Re-designing and starting a new fish room all over again. This time we'll have many more Apistsogramma species. We are expanding.

Hi,

just in case you happen to live in Germany (or Netherlands): I have a wildcaught female A. psammophila, you could have it for free. I have no use for it anymore.
