just thought i would post a pic of my female with her latest batch of egg she is a prolific breeder i have two females of this strain that i breed from this one gets the biggest spawns and very few belly sliders the other one gets a lot more deformed fry i guess thats waht happen when strains are so in breed might put a wild male in with her the nexy spawn to try and give the blood line a boost any thoughts on this idea would be much appreciated

Wild, or just outcross to an unrelated male.

I would try an unrelated light colored male and back-cross a male from this spawn back with the female. A cross with a wild male will probably result in mostly wild looking fish.
