Apisto ID

Hi all, a member at another forum suggested I head over to your site for an apisto ID. I bought two of what the store called 'blue face apistos' today, and am wondering what the exact species name is. The pics aren't great, but they're the best I've been able to get so far...they're still hiding quite a bit and getting adjusted to their new tank. Thanks for your help

Thanks, I think...so they're a mixed, man-made type thing? Not a naturally occuring apisto?

Yes, they appear to be a hybrid, but they are fertile - if you can find the rare females.
