I have recently been asked to find a breeder on A. baenschi "Inka 50".. but I have been having problems finding out how the "Inka 50" are different from "Inka", are different from just A. baenschi. Is all this just one species? So far, I have come across mention that "Inka" was the pre-classification name for the species and the "50" was derived from the original pricing of these fish in Japan (Â¥50,000). So, what is it?!? (Photographic examples appreciated if I am not correct ;) )

I have seen a couple of different names. A. sp. 'Inka', A. sp. 'Inka 50', A. sp. 'Inka 500', A. sp. 'Inka Gold' are just a couple I am sure there are more. Retailers like to change names sometimes to make it sound like it is a new fish to increase sales. The identified species name is Apistogramma baenschi, the rest are just synonyms.
