Its flat against his body, nothing protruding, just like a discolouration. It doesn't look right.
I did go through a light white spot outbreak a few weeks ago, dosed malachite green.

how long has it been present?
may just be scar/resolvingtrauma with loss of scale
maybe early encysted lesion that will slowly increase in size till ruptures and release's organism
metacaria and sporozoan can often be found in wild caught fish without causing any problem
any other signs?

Its probably been there for a week or 2. He hasn't been showing any sign of illness. I guess I'll just wait and see what happens.
