Hi about to place an import order and was offered Agassizii Janauari but can’t find anything on this. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Another trade name or a mistake due to somebody writing down what they heard and thus mangling the original name.

I would search for that name without apistogramma, maybe it's a location.

And now what this means: Treat them like any A. agassizii. This is just a Location and I'm a bit sceptical it's correct.
If they look distinct from other variants, keep them among themselves and abstain from crossing in others.

This is a form of A. cf. agassizii (Netz) from the Rio Januari. I do have a photo by Yuji Sasaki (Rayon Vert Aqua) but it is not mine to share. I couldn't find it on his web site anymore. That being said it is a species similar to A. cf. agassizii (Netz) Alenquer, but the net pattern is less distinct, as are all forms found in the Rio Negro. As with most agassizii-complex species, this species is polychromatic.

When this order comes in I’ll post photos you can keep on record and have no issue with sharing.
