here's my macmasteri pair:

these fish were bought from the same tank, 6 months apart as a. viejita II. both are from the czech republic, not necessarily from the same breeder. i consider them to be a. macmasteri tank breds. would you consider them to be a suitable pair of fish for breeding, whose off spring can be sold as macmasteri? or is there some other things to consider. i don't want to sell hybrids, but i realise macmasteri is a bit mixed up already.
male was purchased last month, female in the summer, but she quickly killed her male cohort.
any thoughts welcome
