Am i seeing ick?

White spot on electric blue ram is it ick? No change in behaviour and is still eating . If it is ick how can i treet it as there is 20 plus fish in the tank?

I can't really tell, but does it look more like an 'indent'? Like a pit is developing?

It doesn't look like Ich....but it would be a good idea to have some 'Metronidazole' lying around the house. I usually put a pinch or so into their blood worm allocation for the week and feed it to them that way...seems to do a good job.

Yes a white or pink pit in the skin could be an infection, bacterial or protozoan (or both).

If he's acting and eating normally you might want to wait and see if it clears up in a week or so without treatment. Especially since we dont know if it's something treatable with Metro. If it's getting worse, then you can try treating, but its a shot-in-the-dark if you cant ID the cause.

+1 to that...keep an eye on that spot too...if it starts getting bigger and/or worse, waiting too long may seal his fate...it's a judgement call for sure.

Actually you are incorrect. Anchor worm and other parasitic diseases cannot be treated by Metronidazole alone. The purpose of Metronidazole is to prevent secondary bacterial infection after the parasites have been eradicated to allow the wounds to heal without getting infected. Therefore you will see Metronidazole combine with medication like Praziquantel to treat parasitic issues.
