Alto Tapiche?

I just bought some Alto Tapiche from my LFS, unfortunately they were the last two left and the male looks very young (it’s tiny compared to the f)

I just wanted to confirm if possible via the photos that I indeed have altos, I can take some more once they settle in and colour up a bit.

My female at the moment chases the male around a little bit, not too much but enough to annoy him. Is this anything to worry about right now or just keep a watch on it?

IMO the male looks like D39 but better photos would be needed, and maybe some true experts can chime in. He is absolutely not an Alto tapiche from what i can see. However, from what i can see, still a nice fish.

Ill give him some time to grow up before i make any drastic changes

once they settle in for a few days i will try and take some more photos, hes literally half the size of the female

Took them back to the lfs and got my money back. Going to look for a pair of electric blue or colourful apisto
