Do your Apistos attack "new" fish that have been recently added to the tank...only to back off once they're used to them?
jowens,
I am always a little concerned when I put new fish into the tank with apistos. There is rarely anyone killed, but it always seems like the "new guy" always has a bad day. When Apistogramma (who are Cichlids) establish themselves in a territory, there is bound to be a little pushing and shoving to show who is boss, even with non-cichlids. And when it comes to adding other Apistogramma, I usually try to minimize the established fishes territory by a little furniture rearranging! Neil
