Well, yesterday i introduced two wild caught large male agassizii, and was expecting them to absolutely dominate my little fella...however, completely the opposite has happened, and the little dude is looking awesome for his female.

yup, this little guy is from the lfs, cost me $40 which is standard around here. I recently got 10 wild caught apistos from an importer, the hongsloi are already getting ready to spawn which is great.

Wow, first kiwi

Beautiful fish mate. $40 bucks though. Thats pretty steep. I thought we had it bad in Sydney. I picked up a nice trio last month and they were $24 each.

is that by any chance a tefe? if not, what strain would you say it is.
Thanks.

No, it is not A. sp. Tefe. This form of aggie is traded as
Ap. agassizii " Alenquer " in Hong Kong and many asian countries...
The price here could be very low. I once acquired a pair at a price of
US$15. It is easy to keep and can breed any time... anyhow, it is
a beautiful fish for any apisto lovers ^.^
