Some action in the apistogramma tank, when the adult fishes got food, one of the fry saw its opportunity to run away from the rest of the fry.


Mom sees the runaway

Not easy to get hold of

taste of freedom

Finally mom got her fry and bring it safely back to the rest of the fry.

Hi abrooks12376 I have not seen her kill snails, but she is always around when the male catches one and crushes the shell.
