I have not posted pictures of fish in a while. Here are some fish that have rotated through the photo tanks recently:
A. ortegai (Pebas population)
A. bitaeniata 'Tapiche' - I really like the yellow in the body of this fish.
A. agassizii 'Yellow' from Peru - I do not know the river system for this fish, but all the males in the group are very consistent, so I think that it is one population.
A. sp. 'Kelleri'
A. bitaeniata .... these were imported as 'blue'. I have pretty much stopped importing fish that are not coming in with a location. Not that having a location told to me is any guarantee that the fish are actually all from the same place, or even from the correct place; but I have found that the exporter (Albertino) has been better about sending fish that are all at least consistent. One good thing about the bitaeniata sold by a color designation is that they generally cost less, and if what really matters is getting some pretty, healthy fish the 'red', 'yellow', 'blue', etc... are not a bad choice.
A. cacatuoides 'Pucallpa' - This is a pretty (and large) cac, and the color patterns are variable. Most look like this one:
