A. Agassizii "blue bonfire"

Picked up what was supposed to be a pair, but turned out to be two pair of these guys from Tristan's Tropical Fish. This male is about 1.25 inches and the other three are about .75 inches, so they are all still truly in their adolescent coloration. Was very impressed with the health of the fish, they acclimated well and ate within an hour of being introduced. Was just wondering if anyone had heard of this particular color morph before? I can't find anything online really. They may just be blue flames but I won't know till this male really starts to color up.

Yea well the cz do a lot of stuff - they started calling tank raised nijjensi nijjensi rio whatever and doubled the price.

Going on since the Nineties... Tradenames in the aquarium hobby went bonkers since 1992-1993. At least in Europe.
