I have 2 of my Apistogramma Agassizii's that lost their bright yellow colors and they are getting quite dark. My other Apisto's still have their color and they swim healthy. Can anyone please explain why?

Thanks

It sounds to me like they are getting ready to spawn. They often lose their yellow and get rather brown or a little greenish in the day or so prior to spawn.

Re-designing and starting a new fish room all over again. This time we'll have many more Apistsogramma species. We are expanding.

Hi,

just in case you happen to live in Germany (or Netherlands): I have a wildcaught female A. psammophila, you could have it for free. I have no use for it anymore.
