    A. mendezi spawned

I've had them for about 4 months, but got lucky with 3 spawns across the two females. So far only one has successfully raised (her most recent batch) to free swimming size, but they seem to be eating well. Do mendezi grow at a "typical" rate for apistos?

    A. Uaupesi? Took a chance...

I took a chance with a few fish from a post shared earlier. Apologies for the film on the glass, I'm letting the snail sort that out on its own. I'm wondering if it's possible at this point to more specifically ID these two, or if more time, better video/photos and clear glass are required...

Mixed bag arriving as A. megaptera

A recent shipment to our LFS designated A. Megaptera seems to include at least 2 species. I'm guessing A. velifera for the fish in the two stills. What do the experts think? Next, anyone see potential females in the video? Thanks for the education.

    Sexing Apistogramma abacaxis / wilhelmi

I'm hoping someone can determine whether any of the three fish in this video is a female. Thanks in advance.

    A. elizabethae pair?

They regularly display to one another, and follow one another into caves, but the "female" is large and while it will lighten had never shown any shift to yellow. Thanks for any guidance.
