It used to be much easier to bring fish throught the border in our lugages but thanks to some new US laws, you need to have a permit, schedule a meeting with some veterinary , which is only available at one frontier station, etc etc. Lots of troubles.
I can bring...
I'm in Quebec city, Quebec. I think that shipping one batch will be complicated enought so I rather send it in a single shot and let you guys sort it out :)
As for the price, just don't worry about it :)

Send me an MP with the informations.
I never tried to ship live fish from Canada to USA so we might have a bit of work to do to get it done but i'd be glad to share this species with you guys if we can manage it :)

I have like 20 youngs growing up right now. I've been keeping a trio ( 1 male and 2 females ) for about 3 years now and they are breeding like rabbits ever since. The problem is : nobody knows about them around here so I'm always struggling to sell my youngs. :(
Still, I keep breeding...
Awesome fish ! I'm quite a Steatocranus enthusiast myself and I can only dream of acquiring this species.
Let me know if you have spare fries and congratulations for your spawn! :)

www.kensfish.com also has the kind of valves you are looking for and they are quite cheap/effective.
It's crucial to let the excess of air out of your pipeline or else your pump will push too much and break up early. You can easily detect it by the noise it makes and the heat. Too much...
Congratulations about the babies :) THey usually make excellent parents. My pair is currently taking care of a huge spawn, around 75-100 babies.
I might also add that they will eat virtually anything veggie that is in the tank. It includes cryptos, java moss and java fern, all plants that...
Do a double treatment. Use levamisole once and another time 10 days after.
This way you should get rid of most worms in the tank. Fish are getting them back when "eating" on the sand and gravel..
Good luck

Hi,
There is a new "species" circulating in my LFC. From what I gathered, a guy imported a few pair of what he calls "Moanda" jewels. I know it's going to sound stupid but they all look like a regular lifallili or bimaculatus. I never heard of any "Moanda" species before, so I was wondering...
I used to keep those bugs in a bucket when I was a kid, along with giant water bug ( I'm sorry, dont know the exact english word for those ). Trust me about the part where they say that dragonfly are predatory : they are. And they can eat something truly amazin.
I used to go to the pet...
Following Randall's suggestion, here is my experience with gobiocichla ethelwinerae so far :)
I got 6 individuals that are currently hosted in a 40 gallons tanks. I received them at about 2-3 inches and now the bigger one is approchaing 4 inch. They truly look like a popsicle stick with...
Depending on where you are in the US, I got a bunch that I could try to ship you.
I'm in canada thought, but we could try to work this out if you want some.
MP me if interested.

The problem comes from the fact that many spouses ( or husband, because yes, there is female hobbyist out there, it's not a myth :P ) have a level of "normality" around 1. So, if you have more than 1 tank, you obviously found in the "abusive" section
So, here is a solution that I tried and...
