2-2.5 can be depending on your plant load and tank. In a low light tank with no additional CO2 I would be worried. In a higher light tank with stable CO2 I would be fine with it as long as your plants are growing which most likely means that other nutrients they need are in the proper ratio...
I guessed it would be at least a week. At the very least it will put my mind at ease to know it will take some time and it's not me. It's all fun. Certainly can get a person excited.
Thanks for the compliments pattrick and for the answer Randall.
When I got home on Thursday from work the eggs where all gone and the purple coloring of the female had faded. So looks like first attempt for them was no good. Which is okay. She is already eating like a pig and showing that...
The one thing to consider is the more light you have the more potential there is for things to go right and wrong.
The more light you have the faster the plants will grow. The faster they will consume the nutrients in the water. Overdose, under dose, CO2 poops out and things aren't nice...
Hi all -
A while back I was asking a few questions about these little guys. I had 4 and ended up with 2 pair. One set seemed not interested so I let it go. The other pair seemed much happier after I moved them to a newer tank but eventually the male died.
On April 28th I was at the LFs and...
Thanks for the advice. I'm just thinking what I would like to put in there. Most of the plants will be crypts with a foreground of Marsilea augustifolia.
I don't want to waste my time and end up with a dead fish or two because of ignorance and bad planning so I appreciate the insight. Have...
Hi -
I've been fascinated by some of the Pel. taenaitus species and I am wondering if any are suitable for a 10 gallon tank. There is a fair amount of rock structure with multiple caves. There will also be plenty of plants in the next week or so. I wouldn't mind tossing a pair in there but...
Well that's a pretty damn good drawing if you ask me. I read it the first time as 'with my color pencils' and started to laugh until I read it again and saw they were your daughters. :D
I've gotten those too. One said he was the son of Taylor and now that his family has been sent out the country they need to blah blah.
I had fun screwing with the guy for about 2 weeks. It was amusing.
It's rigged! Is this being hosted in Florida? I seem to recall some issues a few years back in Florida!
Congrats though. I will say since getting back into dwarves and plants again this fall I have found the information everyone shares really helpful and a great read.
I'm indifferent. I have my own server and domain and can host my own stuff. I guess I should be careful and watch my image size.
I voted for links. If people want to see the pictures they can follow the link. If they only wish to read it, they can. So I think I will change my habit to post...
