Welcome to the forum Jim.

Best bet for pictures is to get an account with Photobucket (http://photobucket.com) or another image hosting site (I use photobucket and found them great).

You upload your pictures to your account there and then simply add the link from that page to your post, e.g. the link between tags. On photobucket they have an otpion you can click on that does this automatically and you just paste this into your message, like this...

Hope that's clear(ish)!

Lovely paph! Well done from one orchid nut to another! I've got a miniature dendrobium (aberrans) that is in bud and will be in bloom soon! Just like getting the apistos to spawn I find it very rewarding! Do you have any other orchids?

I've got about 10 Phaleonopsis indoors and a few hardy Dactylorhiza spp. and a Cypripedium hybrid outside. Thanks for the compliment. The flower is lasting absolutely ages. The flower looks just as good today as it did when the photo was taken in September, nearly two months ago!

Lovely! There was a time when I had the time to tend to about 50+ plants, in the pre-fish/school days. Mostly dendrobiums (notably unicum, antennum and oddball miniatures...), but some neofinitia falcata, Psychopsis papillio, maxillaria tenufolia, some catasetums , few phals, and the list goes on

I was fortunate to have my mom living in Chicago for a few years, so I would get to visit an amazing greenhouse called Oak Hill Gardens. Tonnes of oddball and unique species. How's the orchid scene in the UK? Canada's not as big as the states, nature of the beast when your population is 1/10th as big I guess!

I hope Jim posts those pics soon! I'm curious to see what he's picked up!!

There's a pretty big orchid following for the indoor types. The RHS does produce a separate Orchid review either monthly of yearly I believe. I'm not that into them though! And prefer the hardy ones - which I only have as I used to grow and sell hardy plants myself and could snatch all the cool plants before the public got at them!!!!

I hope Jim posts those pics soon! I'm curious to see what he's picked up!!

Me too! Was just wondering how he was getting on! Any news Jim?
