I think this is my favorite apisto... I imported a bag on my peru shipment, they were gorgeous... I didnt keep any for myself unfornately... I want them again!

you should keep some in the future. This species is really interesting.
By the way, i once came across a specimen which was 10 cm long!!!
I was so surprised that i stared at it for over 5 minutes and i was sure that
it was really a "strawberry"!! :)

Wow, 10 cm long :eek: ! That's a huge Apisto :biggrin:.
Looks like a really interesting species. I've never seen one alive...

One of my favourite species too.
Once saw a pair with very purplish lips.
