Just confirming the identification if possible. Others have stated the fish is definitely female but I feel the fin lengths for a juvenile lean towards sub-dominant male. Either way, my knowledge of A. Borelli is very sparse.
Fish is still settling in and mouth to caudal spot is ~4cm, so it is likely too early to be absolutely sure?
Apologies for the army of freshwater limpets, I clean them off the front pane every other day but they are quite persistent. I'm hoping the Apistogramma develops a taste for them.
Don't worry about the flow, it is only in ~10% or less of a 40 gallon aquarium with the rest being very sheltered and quite densely planted, the flow is just where I drop food for dispersion and cichlids are going to cichlid.
