What kind of price would should I be selling tank bred Zebra Acara Ivanacara Adoketa? Looking online the variation in price is massive, and not many if any at all are tank bred in the uk.

I guess thats up to you.
In my experience, it’s not always easy to sell “rare” species.
Maybe talk to a local store if it gets to hard to sell them privately. Atleast you would get some money out of it that way.

Depends what buyer will pay. I personally prefer hobby bred fishes over farmed bred but there is a limit in prices. Also as the species becomes more popular it becomes more readily available driving price down. They are definitely more common these days.

Unfortunately what you would have to pay for a fish, and what you can sell them for, often don't correlate.

You definitely will be able to sell them, but probably not for what they're worth, if that makes sense?

It might depend a little bit on where @Pauljr412 lives in the UK, if it is near a big northern city, Manchester etc. they have a lot more chance than if they live in a rural, or in a hard water, area.

Absolutely something to think about.

Otherwise I'd research prices at shops in the region, go 20% down from the average and you have it.

I actually thought of writing something similare.

When I had I. Bimaculata fry I almost sold all of them to shops to a lower price, but atleast they moved out of their teenage caves

If you have a good relationship with your local fish shop you might be able to ask to order some in for you.
