Hi,
Can anyone tell if these a. Viejita are male or female? They are about 3cm long.

Colouration and fins say juvenile or females.
At 3cm they are kind of just under the size where you can definitely sex them. At 4cm it should be easier and everyone that grows over 5 is definitely a male, but until then they should have coloured up anyways.

Maybe one or two, but I don't see more that I would be confident to say male or female.

I love the cories btw, are they a C-Number?
No stress during the brooding period with them?

The cories are Weitzmani. I had to use their tank as a grow out tank unfortunately for them. They haven't minded the baby apistos until recently where they are competing for food. If people are interested in the fry then I will get a real grow out tank for the next batch. Until then it's a bit crowded here. I'm just not sure yet If I want to be a breeder.

Thank you!

I hope you find buyers for the fry, otherwise you might have to think about permanently keeping your Apistos separated. There is a reason common species like A. macmasteri are so common. ;)

Re-designing and starting a new fish room all over again. This time we'll have many more Apistsogramma species. We are expanding.

Hi,

just in case you happen to live in Germany (or Netherlands): I have a wildcaught female A. psammophila, you could have it for free. I have no use for it anymore.
