I agree not a Mac. but just as easy to breed. See if they have a male or if you want Mac. see if they have a pair.

I will definitely do that the fish store is calling the breeder to get me a male of either of the 2. Is it normal for the driftwood do develop a white film?

Yes, it will go away after a bit, I have a piece of wood that is about 4 months and it still has a thin film on it. I just take it out every month or so and hit it with the water hose, it will get less and less.
