Hello again, helpful people!

It has been more than a year and the fish are amazingly still in the same display tank at Green Chapter, Singapore. (Sadly, they are not selling the fish, and there are no females too, it seems.)

Here are some photos of the fish. Does anyone have a better idea now what we have here? The macmasteri-complex swims in even muddier waters (to me) now that I see the D-series fish - it boggles the mind!

To me too ;)

However, as far as I can see/guess from the photos, these fish seem to be able to show a lower pectoral spot (in addition to the upper one). Because of this and some other features, I think they are close to A. macmasteri (rather than to A. viejita or A. hoignei).

I agree with Frank. With all of the D# forms arriving from Colombia there's just not enough information on them all to say what is a new species and what is a new population.

Re-designing and starting a new fish room all over again. This time we'll have many more Apistsogramma species. We are expanding.

Hi,

just in case you happen to live in Germany (or Netherlands): I have a wildcaught female A. psammophila, you could have it for free. I have no use for it anymore.
