Hi

Thanks for you reply well I came home tonight and the one I Think is a male has been following the one you say could be female around. She has gone a yellow tint and they keep stroking the fin on each other and rolling on the side and swimming side by side. The only thing that consern me hopefully is ok they sometime Face each other and look like they puff there cheeks and the continue to roll together. Doesn’t look aggressive . I think
I have a pair. The other two I have am
Unsure on what sex they are

Give them some time, mine when I reintroduce her back into the tank with the male or other way around it takes her about 10 days or so to get in the mood for breeding.

My female has been trying to entice the male all afternoon, so it should be soon, she is more yellow than this morning.

I found sometimes I have luck getting them to pair up by separating them for a few weeks and then putting them in there own tanks and conditioning them with live and frozen food. My male ate the first batch of free swimmers.

I don’t have a spare tank to split them but I have however added few more coconut caves and also had been increasing the temp a little an just done a water change I read it can replicate the rain season. Also been feeding frozen shrimp an daphnia so we will see what happens lol

Most of what I use is coconut, but her last clutch of eggs was in the top of a 4" clay pot laid on it's side.

If you have a saw you can score and break or I use a drimal tool. When I grew up in south FL. we had coconut trees in our yard, I ate so many of them, I cant stand the taste of them now. How do you normally clean them before putting into tank, I'm always interested in a easier way.?
