Dear all,

I have been thinking about creating a biotope arround the Apistogramma sp. Schwarzkehl. By making use of gbif.org I found possible tank mates. From Tom C his website i know that they come from small clearwater streams with sandy to rocky bottoms. Now I was hoping that some one could tell me if they are found with plants and if so what kind of plants. I also assume there is some wood and dead leaves in their biotope, just not the tannins? I am looking forward to your ideas and thoughts!

I'm sorry Chris, my site isn't updated on every species. I have recently written a little about the A. sp. "Schwarzkehl" habitat here

Hi,

just in case you happen to live in Germany (or Netherlands): I have a wildcaught female A. psammophila, you could have it for free. I have no use for it anymore.
