It's not A. similis, which comes from Bolivia & has the commbrae-complex double caudal patch. It is not any of the regani-group species because it has a lateral spot, which is missing on regani-group species. My guess right now is that it is a pertensis- or brevis-group species, but a better photo is needed to be certain.
It is still small & young, but I am fairly certain that it is either A. pertensis or A. cf. pertensis. Adult males are much easier to identify than juveniles.
Females of the pertensis-group have a few blue spots/stripes around the bottom of the eye. They also do not show much black (if any) on the ventral fins. This makes young fish hard to sex. Once they mature, the male develop much higher fins.
