Hi I’m hoping someone might be able to help. Since yesterday my male Apisto has been acting very strange. He is hiding a lot more than he used to, doesn’t seem to swim with the same vigour as before, doesn’t act territorial with the female (something he has done consistently since their introduction 3 weeks ago) and just seems a bit….off. He also seems to have a stringy but coming from his underside which you can just about see in the pic.
This is the only pic I could get when he ventured out for a split second. He’s only in with the female and a small school of rainbow fish and I’ve tested the water which is absolutely perfect.
I just want to save him before it’s too late if it is looking like an infection.
Does anyone know what might be the problem?
