Hi!
I have some young Ap. Macmasteri, but I have trouble sexing them. They are offspring from a wild-caught pair. There are quite a large size difference and the larger males are easily sexed, I also have had a few females (that have turned yellow). But I wonder if anyone can help me what to look for to determine whether the smaller ones are females or small males. For example, does only the males get red markings on the fins? If so, then I think I got mostly males . Any other differences?
