Hello guys, can u help me decide what gender is this fish?
The story is this:
He/she was for like 4-5 months in the same 54 liters planted tank with
a dominant 100% male Ramirezi. Displaying low colors, less extended
first 2-3 dorsal rays, letting the other male chase him/her. The colors and
the behaviour told me its a female. Tho, never had any intentions to lay eggs,
never got the fat belly, or the red stain on the belly, as a real female.
Even tho, tank is planted, they were alone inthere, only a small oto kept
them company but he's like invisible, i provided them a nice flat rock, frozen
bloodworms and black mosquito larvae 2 times/week, good quality flakes and
granules in the rest.
Last night i moved him/her in the 180 l community planted tank, and suddenly
the colors were much more intense.
Now, the picture to help u decide.
