Picture of fish b which I think is maleIm new to keeping apisto. I have two young ones but I'm unsure of the sex. It may be too early to tell. Can anyone help please? I’m sure one is male but I need a better picture. This one I’m most unsure of.

hi MikeToo small/young to sex accurately. Give it another 2 - 3 month.
I was thinking that too, but as I never kept (and will never) keep domestic A. cacatuoides I can't tell.Thank you for your reply. I have had some people on other groups say that it’s not a agassizi it’s a cacatuoides. What are your thoughts please? Many thanks
It's for sure not cacatuoides.I have had some people on other groups say that it’s not a agassizi it’s a cacatuoides.
I do you mind if I ask why you wouldn’t keep them?I was thinking that too, but as I never kept (and will never) keep domestic A. cacatuoides I can't tell.
Oh no! Thats not good! The others here will think the record is broken. I just wouldn't want to keep the fish-equivalent to a pug or a bulldog. An animal so far removed from it's wild form by inbreeding you only have to looik at them funny and they drop dead. Besides they're ugly.
