Seeking fishy friends in Tucson.

Dear Fellow Enthusiasts-
I was lucky enough to get a call from a member in the Bay Area who is sending me a list of places to buy dwarf cichlids when I will be there in June. However, as I studied the membership list I found noone from Tucson-and only two other members from AZ. If there are any Tucsonians or dwarf cichlid folk in Phoenix who would care to get in touch my phone number is 520-707-5623. I'm almost always home, even moreso since my school of adorable baby P. pulchers became free swimming. I'm finding them almost impossible to deal with as the parents are both so hidden and the babies only come out when they bring them. I've perhaps seen them 5 minutes a day.

Yesterday the male started really giving the female a bad time and I can't catch him either. I'm afraid he's ready to spawn again and she certainly isn't. He also has killed several dither fish in the past 48 hours.

There are no Cleithacaras, apistogrammas, etc. for sale in our 3 LFS. The only Laetacaras are curviceps. Recommendations about buying on line would be much appreciated.

Hello, I am from Arizona too. I will be moving back to Camp Verde at the end of this summer after I finish school. I hope to have some spawns from my new apistos(agassizii, fresa, and nijsseni) by then or soon after. If nothing else, I will most likely have some cacatoides. I often pass through your part of the state. If you would be interested in some trades once I have some more fish, let me know. As for recomendations for buying online, you can't go wrong with buying from Ray McCaleb. I have purchased fish from him twice now and have been very satisfied. In addition to selling excelent fish, he is alway willing to answer questions and offer advice.
