Well, my A. trifasciata has no problems with normal flake foods. I use a local brand from my country, argentina, but tetra flakes was an option sometimes. In my experiencies, trifasciatta's lay out eggs while eating flake foods
A. borelli & A. commbrae were more picky, they get used to grindall worms and artemia, and only after days without eating took some flakes, but with a really bad attitude
Dafnias are an excellent food, in the summer they can be collected everywhere, but indoor cultivation was a problem to me.
Greetings from the south.-
