raised dorsigera artificially

i have a pair of laetacara dorsigera who spawn regulary.
unfortuntly for them , they are in a 90g community tank and of course baby cannot survive with a troup of cardinalis and cory and othe fish.

i use to raised all my fry with parents (most of my apisto) until they reach a certain size / age.

do i have any chance if i ty raise the dorsigera artificially like rams ?

well, actually L. dorsigera should be a little easier to raise artificially than ram fry, IMO. I have raised them in a plain 10gallon bare bottom tank until they were about an inch in length and then pulled them out and put them into a 20 long to grow out till they were about 2 1/2 inches, which doesn't really take that long. They will do great as long as you do keep them on a good diet of bbs or cbws and more than regular water changes. good luck

I'd remove the fry because of fear of fungus. they're going to do much better than artificial rearing of the eggs.
