R/O Setup Questions

Hi,

I would like to make a R/O setup for my fishes. I think it would be great to have a R/O unit that pumped water into some kind of holding tank and then for there to be a way to pump water out of the holding tank into my tanks as needed. That being said, I know almost nothing about plumbing or anything similar and I have no idea how to set this up.

Does anyone have any pointers or can anyone point me to a description of how to do this?

There's a thread on here about my RO set up somewhere. I'll try and find it and post a link.

I have an RO unit feeding into a water barrel with an auto shut-off kit that stops the unit working when the barrel is full. It would then be easy to have a pump in that barrel that pumped the water into your tanks. You could even do it on a timer if you fit a suitable overflow to take the waste water away.
