Hello.
I recently bought two cacs from my LFS, but they didn't guarantee a pair. It was suggested that I may have either a female, or a juvenile male.
Everything I have read here suggests that it is a female, but she is showing no signs of turning yellow, despite some flirtatious behaviour with the male (he's a tripple red, and very obvious), and even entering a cave together.
Can anyone advise me from these pictures please.

Half of me hopes that it is female, but the other half hopes it is a male. If it is a young male, then it will obviously have to be moved to another (new ) tank straight away.
Thanks.
Ian.
