New Québec member

Hi everyone, I am from Stratford, Québec and I am pretty new to the hobby, I have aquariums for the last 3 years and I bought my first apistos a year from now. I first fell in love with cacatoides but still never had one so I first bought one couple sold as A. gibbiceps but after some searchs I found them to be A. gephyras but i'm still not sure so i'll post a photo soon to identify the male because the female died and if I want one from the same specie I'll need to know more about it. Then I bought a new couple of Gibbiceps and now it is the true gibbiceps. I bred them once and had a few fry alive but they were eaten by other tetras. ever since they lay some eggs but no babys from them. I was wandering if there is someone who can help me with my breeding? so in my next post i'll send pictures.
