Have been into tropical fish for many years - 1st attempt at Apistogramma . At present I'm housing 1 trio of A. borelliii, 1 pair proven A. viejita + 1 reverse trio, 1 pair young A. panduro, 6 young (as of yet unsexable) A. honsloi . Each group in it's own 10 gal. heavily planted + rock work and driftwood. Each of the 5 tanks were set up 6 weeks in advance with populations of ghost shrimp living happily until the Appisto's moved in ;) .

Welcome to the forum. Regarding your "proven A. viejita", I assume you mean that they are reproducing successfully. Most (99+% of all 'A. viejita' in the hobby are actually a color morph of A. macmasteri, not the true A. viejita. If I'm wrong in my assumption, then I'd really like to see photos of your fish!
