Yes, they have bred off and on, while they were held alone (with a few cardinal dithers) in their 40 gallon breeder tank.

Since I introduced an older female, they have not bred. Although, they still "dance" around each other and court. But, haven't "sealed the deal."

The older female (who hasn't yet really taken to the male) seems to have them off. She is a pretty tough old lady, and challenges the male every so often.
