Maps for South America.

Ok! guys,

I've seen thread about the South American maps somewhere in this forum .While searching on internet I found this site with good description of world maps and rivers of the world.So for those guys who couldn't find it I've posted what I've found for you.http://etc.usf.edu/maps/galleries/sa/index.htm :biggrin:

Thanks for the URL. I must say that it has some very interesting historical maps. Sadly, none seem to have the detail most people want, but what can you expect for free. From my experience, the most detailed maps of South America are regional air flight maps and naval/police maps. The trick is trying to find them anyplace other than in country. The Peruvian Navy maps of northern, eastern, and southeastern Peru are fantastic. To me they are well worth the $50-75 (I don't really remember what they cost) that I spent on them. The trick is that you have to know someone who knows someone in the Navy to get them - locally.
