Looking for Hardy Plants

I am been having alot of problems trying to cultivate a well planted tank for my apistos. I won some naja grass and some java moss to cover the gravel but Does anyone have some good advice which plants I can use.

Java fern and anubias is a low light plant and pretty hardy too which can be tied to driftwood or rocks.

As well as those great suggestions by ek, I'd add some stems plants, like Hygrophila, and some crypts too as most of them are bomb proof for low light (but they do like some nutrient in the substrate - you can push nutrient tzablets in by their roots).
