These fish came in really small and until now they havent had much color or pattern. I ordered them as Juruensis with the hope that they would be the correct fish, and knowing that there was a 90% chance they would be wrong.

I have Blackchin and these do not look like the ones I have.

Hi,

Due to the orange lips, they are A. sp. Blackchin for sure. A. juruensis have blue lips.

But anyway, there are different colour morphs of the Blackchin, so it's not unusual, that they do not look the same.

regards,
Rolo

Hello Chris,

yes agree with Rolo, I have had these in Sydney and they are stunning fish.
It is a pity that they are no longer available anymore. It is so hard to get unusual types of Apistos in the LFS Sydney area.

Again just stunning fish. cheer jk
