The fish in the picture died, he jumped out while i was doing maintenence and wedged himself in a place where i couldnt find him, when i finally did, i put him in the tank but fin rot got a grip on him and he died :frown:

The diagonal abdominal bars on the body of A. gibbiceps tend to be broad and occur where the vertical bars on other apisto occur. The diagonal bars on A. roraimae tend to be narrow stripes that occur not only where the vertical bars normally occur, but also in the areas between the bars. I suggest that you get a copy of the DATZ special publication if you can. It shows photos of each.
