hello, i'm interested in finding some Apisto. Agassiziis, any suggestions on what i should know, what i should look for, and what are fair prices??? right now they would go in my 38 gallon with my discus and my gold nugget. I'm trying to get a whole south american feel to it, and it is working nicely.... any response would be very helpful thank you

That is kind of a toughie, because of the wide ranging species that you are interested in. Almost all are beautiful and a good choice, but there are so many color-forms that it is difficult to tell you much more about specifics. You can sometimes find wild Peru species in the LFS for $5. But you can also pay as much as $50 or $60 for a pair of rarer aggies. I bought a pair of Tefes from Oliver Lucanus about a year ago for $60 (I think that's right). In general, you can get nice color forms for $6-10/fish.
